Why Do I Feel Anxious, Depressed, and Exhausted All at Once?

Sometimes anxiety and depression do not show up separately.
You may feel restless but unmotivated. Tired but unable to sleep. Overwhelmed by everything and interested in almost nothing.
You may still be going to work, caring for your family, answering messages, and doing what needs to be done. From the outside, you may look fine.
Inside, you may feel like you are barely keeping up.
Anxiety can keep your mind constantly active. Depression can make even simple tasks feel heavy. Burnout can make both worse. When all three overlap, it can be difficult to know what is happening or where to begin.
You may notice:
Constant overthinking
Irritability or feeling emotionally short
Trouble concentrating
Feeling numb or disconnected
Loss of motivation
Sleeping too much or not enough
Feeling guilty for not doing more
Avoiding people even when you feel lonely
Functioning on the outside while struggling privately
You do not have to wait until you are unable to function before asking for support.
Counseling can give you a place to slow down, understand what your mind and body are trying to communicate, and identify practical ways to feel more grounded.
You do not need to explain everything perfectly. You only need a place to begin.
Native Springs Counseling & Wellness offers supportive, direct counseling for anxiety, depression, burnout, emotional exhaustion, and high-functioning stress.
